The Challenges

  • Create a site that enables the recruitment of publishers that sell ads in the various magazines.
  • Create a private, protected community where publishers can join groups and share their sales strategies in a private forum.
  • Train the principle owners in managing content and communities on the site.
  • Train all publishers during a national conference how to use social media to increase leads and sales.

Results

  • We trained all publishers during the national conference and posted the training videos on YouTube for future consultation.
  • We created a private community and populated it with advice on how to improve leads and sales, both online and offline. This kickstarted a vibrant forum where publishers shared their experiences, shared their most successful strategies.
  • The community has groups that can only be joined by invitation. It allows for online support groups of 4-5 publishers who coach each other through the highs and lows.
